How do you step from the top of a 100-foot pole?

Stepping off the 100 ft pole allows us to investigate the reality of our minds. We step directly into our feelings and emotions for instance, seeing rich people walking next to you can make you feel small and emotions are the most important parts of our bodies. We see that the emotions themselves are not the problem; it’s the attachment to the emotions, the way they take hold of us and the gaps between our emotions and what really is. Sometimes it creates chances for people to be more open to their friends or families; being willing to be open to the perceptions and perspectives of our friends or families.

If you can look out there you can find that our lives are like being perched on the top of a 100 foot pole. Another thing is that each moment in our relationships, at work and in our lives, we don’t have a choice but we got a choice to do something or try to convince other people around us. All I can say is that remaining silent is a choice, it is still doing something. As the poem says, though you are making an effort, the challenge is to be fully alive, fully genuine. When we take this step, there is no gap between us and the world, no more sense of confusion, trying, effort “the entire world becomes your body.” Successful people are not always in the position because no one tells them when they want to do something.
We as people have imaginary 100-foot pole in which we have to decide when and for what purpose we would step from it, only when we build up the courage to step off our safety zones will we be able to see the results from taking a chance or risk.
