Two people come out of a building and into a story

Two years ago, one night I told myself that I am not going to sleep and I fell down to sleep in a strange way. I never sleep like that and that night is unforgettable to me. While I was sleeping I started to hear some strange sound coming from the other of my bedroom and I just ignored that sound but this thing comes out as if I was dreaming.

 I woke up and I went in to my brothers to tell him about that, he just told me to sleep because he taught that was just a lie and when I was walking out from my brother room I didn’t saw anything, After an hour I saw a big light like someone turned on the lights. 

I screamed so that my brother can hear that something wrong is happening in my room. I tried to sleep again and while I was sleep I just realized that could not handle this dream any more and I tried to wake up again but my eyes couldn't open. I started to sweat because I was kind of scared and I couldn't even talk or move in that moment. I could only think in that dream. Sometimes dreams are scary so you must watch out. Two people coming from the same family and one guy had a dream and his brother didn’t believe that he was dreaming.

Smoking

Smoking is not good because it damages our body. Smoking causes cancer. While throat and lung cancer are the most common types of cancer seen in smokers, the risk of developing cancer at other sites in the body also increases with cigarette smoking. I am hundred percent sure that everyone who will be reading this blog will be shocked to know that one single cigarette contains about 4000 toxic chemicals and I was also shocked when my supervisor (Liezene Canham) at the Cancer Association of South Africa told me about that. 

I am also sure that most of you know what most of the following products are:

Handy Andy, Raid Dog Spray, Nail Polish Remover, Tar and Toilet cleaner, etc.

Now this little cigarette contains chemicals found in these products together with thousands of their disgusting chemicals. Can you imagine of drinking or eating any of these products (mention: handy Andy, tar, toilet cleaner, etc). Well let me tell you, don’t allow a person to smoke around you because that is very harmful to you and don’t be fooled by people telling you that you won’t get sick if they smoke around you and you don’t smoke. Guys I know that everyone wants to be in crowd, but what happens if there in crowd is stinking like smoke and is being infected with lung cancer. Did you know that if you don’t smoke you can save R 5 000?

As a Public Relations fourth year student I know what is expected of me. Public Relations practitioners are concerned with maintaining a public image for businesses, non-profit organizations or high-profile people, such as celebrities and politicians. When approaching public relations it’s important to remember that simpler is always better. You must be a good writer, editor and stylists are approached with so much.

Public Relations play a major role in launching campaigns. For example, Coca-Cola has a partnership with the AIDS Foundation to launch annual national HIV/AIDS awareness and prevention campaigns, which included exhibitions and distribution of prevention materials in hundreds of cities across China. Obviously, to launch national HIV/AIDS awareness and prevention campaigns they need a Public Relations Officer if they want their campaign to be successful. A Public Relations Officer uses a myriad of strategies to promote the message and to advance the interests of the client.

When I did my internship at Cansa Association of South Africa, we organized campaigns, exhibitions, booking schools for presentations and facilitate programmes in schools around Western Cape, and Toktokkie mascourt was used to promote the message. The main aim of our Campaign was to let people know about cancer, prectice healthy life style and not to smoke.       

In this instant, PR Practitioners become an organization designer in terms of  its role in campaign and maintaining organization reputation in public eyes.

STUDENT LIFE

Student life is the best part of life for anyone. A student learns various things from life. But he has to enter the real world after his student life is over. So, a student needs practical knowledge of things in order to survive. Student life is a life of joy. Student life prepares a man to become successful in life. In fact, student life is a life of learning new things. A student has to learn the following things morals and good manners.

It’s your responsibility as a parent to make sure that your child understands the value of discipline in life and I believe that can each student to achieve education. So, student life is a period of making and it also prepares you for a better future. What I have noticed is that when student hears about university experiences, their focus will be around parties, drugs and alcohol: do you think having a good time with friends is going to help you to pass? Students do not even know that alcohol is dangerous and what it does to their bodies.  Furthermore, alcohol becomes a serious problem affecting student’s life all over the world.

There are many ways in which students can become successful in their student life one of them is to a short-term goal. Student must always keep in their minds that goals need to be smart. For example, your first goal is to do well in your exams; obviously it is the aim to every student. Students must understand what is good for them and that can help them on what they want to achieve. The future is in your hands.

Valentine’s Day can be celebrated in many ways

Why we celebrate Valentine’s Day? We celebrate this day as the way to honor St. Valentine.  The 14^th of February is a special day for the couples. February is known as the month of romance. To me, Valentine’s Day is about sharing love and exchange Valentine’s Day gifts to one another by doing so you want to show how special is your partner to you. People celebrate Valentine’s Day in many ways some of them go out for movies or create a special dinner, buy a sexy outfit that suite your partner. On this day people must try to avoid distractions, such as chatting on mixit while your partner is around you, or deciding to spend time with friends.  

You don't need to spend money to have a good time with your love ones. Instead of buying your partner a Valentine’s Day card, you can make a homemade card by yourself to avoid spending money.  People perceive that if you don’t have a partner you can’t celebrate Valentine’s Day that’s not true because when I was doing grade 9 in 2003 my teacher gave us a chance in class to exchange Valentine’s Day cards to show how much we love and care for each other. Men’s tend to be ignorant about Valentine’s Day because they are not aware that being ignorant may lead bad reputation. If you don’t buy Valentine’s gifts you may ended up losing your partner because he or she will say you don’t love him of her.

I am

My name is Mzolisi Makaula, Mzolisi means to keep quiet. I am originally from Eastern Cape in Tsolo, in a small vilage called Mcwangele location. I grew up in a normal sized house with a mother, father, one older sister and three older brothers. My father past away in 1998 by that time I was 14 years old.  Even though I’ve been through tough times, I have managed a pretty normal life.I am a South African citizen. I am a student at Cape Peninsula University of Technology or I am a father. I am intelligent and hardworking person with the ability to work independently, in a team and under pressure with minimum supervision. I am eager to learn new things. I am not a racist and I accept everyone as the human being.

I am inquisitive and my inquisitive nature is to ask questions. I am a soccer player.  I am a chorister, and have been for about eight years, I am very much into music especial House music and Hip Hop. I am a very friendly person, but I can’t expect everyone to like me. I am going to work for Public Relations companies’ to be able to support my family and make it possible for my children to live a happy and fulfilling life.
